Arab Weather - The latest output of numerical weather models received at the Weather Operations Department at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicates an increase in temperatures to remain above their rates for this time of the year in most regions of Iraq on Friday, while temperatures drop in the northern regions, and the weather is Very cold in the northern peaks, relatively cold in the northern regions, while it is pleasant to temperate in the rest of the regions.

More rise in temperatures in all regions Saturday

It is expected, God willing, that there will be a further rise in temperatures on Saturday, and the weather will be relatively cold in the northern peaks, while it will be pleasant to moderate in the rest of the regions, and warm in the far southern regions as a result of touching temperatures of 30 degrees Celsius.

Chances of rain showers on Friday and Saturday in these areas

Amounts of clouds will appear at different heights on Friday, and the opportunity is ripe for showers of rain in the northernmost regions, rain may be heavy at times, and intermittent snowfall is not excluded over the towering northern peaks.

Clouds will continue to appear at different heights on Saturday, and the possibility of showers of rain over random areas may be accompanied by the occurrence of thunder over some parts, and opportunities increase at night.

An increase in night temperatures in most areas

Night temperatures rise compared to previous nights during the Friday / Saturday night hours, and the weather is bitterly cold in the northern mountainous heights with freezing in those areas as a result of temperatures dropping below zero degrees Celsius, while the weather is cold in the northern and western regions, and relatively cold in the rest Regions.

As for Saturday/Sunday night, there will be a further rise in night temperatures, and the weather will be very cold in the northern peaks, cold in the northern and western regions, while it tends to be cold to mild in the rest of the regions, especially the southern ones.

Northwest wind activity sometimes at the end of the week

It is expected that southeasterly moderate winds, sometimes brisk and accompanied by strong gusts, will blow in some areas on Friday, raising dust and dust in different areas of the country.

On Saturday, moderate to brisk easterly winds, accompanied by strong gusts exceeding the 50 km/h barrier, will raise dust and dust in several areas. It is not excluded that the country will be affected by dust waves, especially in the southern regions.

In light of the expected weather conditions, the Arab Weather Center advises the necessity of:

• Attention to the danger of freezing in the exposed areas and its impact on crops and livestock.
• Attention to the risk of reduced horizontal vision due to dust and raised dust and its impact on respiratory and eye patients.
