The company stated in a statement that it had dealt with three faults on the medium pressure network last Sunday evening in three neighborhoods in Tabarbour / Tariq, the suburb of Prince Hassan, and Abu Alanda, and the completion rate reached 97.7%, and the technical teams are currently active to repair 26 individual faults. , confirming that its engineering and technical teams continued to repair electrical faults, and there was no significant delay.

In turn, the Director General of the Jordan Electricity Company, Eng. Marwan Bushnaq, confirmed that the high readiness of the company's engineering and technical teams and the use of advanced technology in dealing with electrical faults under unusual weather conditions is based on long experience and accumulated experience spanning several decades, according to Petra. .

And he indicated that the maximum emergency plan includes the company's work areas in four governorates: the capital, Zarqa, Salt, and Madaba, where technical and engineering teams were distributed in the field, supported by medium and heavy machinery, four-wheel drive vehicles, and snowplows, and the stock of various spare materials was reinforced to facilitate work and achieve The best proportions required.

He pointed out that the main emergency room is closely following the developments of the atmospheric depression and the performance of the electrical network, describing it as comfortable and operating as usual, indicating that the prior preparations during the past months of replacing and installing hundreds of electrical transformers resulted in dealing efficiently with unusual weather conditions.

Bushnaq called on subscribers to stay away from the electrical network and its accessories for the sake of safety, not to extract electrical energy illegally, and not to allow non-technicians of the company to deal with electricity meters, to ensure safety, stressing that electrical tampering and illegal extraction of energy according to the laws puts the perpetrators under legal responsibility. and judicial.
