Arab Weather - The former professor of climate at Qassim University and vice president of the Saudi Weather and Climate Society explained that today witnesses the entry of the "Al-Sarfah" ascendant, which is a bright star in the Leo constellation and will last for 13 days. This star is the last of the four stars of Suhail, and indicates the approaching entry of the "Al-Wasm" season.
Through his account on the "X" platform, Dr. "Al-Masnad" explained that the star Al-Sarfa was named after the heat that departs when it rises at dawn from the east in early October, and the cold that departs when it sets in the west by mid-March. This time is characterized by moderate weather during the day and increased coldness at night.
