Arab Weather - Dr. Abdullah Al-Misnad, former professor of climate at Qassim University and vice president of the Saudi Weather and Climate Society, said that the star Suhail appears simultaneously with the rising of the Taraf mansion in the Leo constellation on August 24, according to the middle latitudes in the Kingdom.
Al-Masnad explained, via his account on the “X” platform, that there are some astronomical calculations that indicate the appearance of the star Suhail approximately seven days before that. He said:
“There is no problem with this difference, and I believe that they are all correct,” he added. “The difference lies in determining the possibility of seeing the star Suhail when it appears above the horizon at dawn, and the difference may also be due to the difference in observation locations; the further south we go, the earlier it appears, and God knows best.”

The star #Suhail enters simultaneously with the rising of the mansion of Al-Tarif in the constellation Leo, on August 24, according to the middle latitudes of the Kingdom, and some astronomical calculations enter Suhail 7 days or so before that, and there is no harm in this difference, and I claim that they are all correct, and the reason for the difference is to determine the possibility of seeing it or not when it appears... pic.twitter.com/EheRNG4qI4
