Arabia Weather - The latest computer forecast maps at the Arab Regional Weather Center indicate that the Kingdom of Morocco is expected to be affected at the end of this week by the tail of an Atlantic storm centered far from the Kingdom, but the effects of the cold front accompanying it cross the Kingdom’s atmosphere and cause strong winds and heavy rains in many areas. From the regions, where the upcoming condition is considered extremely rainy and will constitute a strong boost to the rainy season.
It has become clear, through the latest information and data analyzed and received at the Arabian Weather Center, that the initial indicators of the effects of this storm on the Kingdom are represented by the rainfall of excellent amounts of rain in several parts of the north and center of the Kingdom, which will lead to the formation of torrents and the flow of valleys and reefs, in addition to a rise in Water levels, in addition to an expected significant decrease in atmospheric pressure values at the center of the storm, which will cause strong winds and a storm to blow in the Kingdom, as computer simulation models indicate that the speed of wind gusts will exceed the 100 km/h barrier in some areas.
In detail, it is expected that this depression will cause great activity in the speed of southwesterly winds gradually, with the evening hours and night of Thursday/Friday stirring up some dirt and dust. Before midnight on Thursday/Friday, it is expected that a highly effective cold air front will gradually cross the north of the Kingdom, so that the weather will turn stormy with rainfall, God willing, starting from the north of the Kingdom, and the precipitation will gradually extend with the dawn and morning hours to include the central coastal regions and some regions. Inland, the rain is heavy to very heavy at times, and is sometimes accompanied by thunder, and therefore it is advised to stay away from valley streams, torrents, reefs and slopes, in addition to avoiding crossing roads where water levels rise due to the intensity of rain.
It also warns of the danger of strong wind speeds, some of whose gusts exceed the 100 km/h barrier, especially at dawn and Friday morning in the northern interior regions. Therefore, it is advised to install possessions on the roofs of buildings and external properties for fear of them falling, in addition to being careful while driving on external roads. Heavy truck drivers are exposed to such high wind speeds.
With the evening and night hours, the amount of clouds in the sky decreases, and the weather tends to stabilize in most areas.
God knows.
