Arab Weather - Weather forecasters at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the air depression coming to the Kingdom has been classified as a third-degree (according to the depression intensity index) and is accompanied by a very cold air mass of polar origin. This air depression will gradually affect the Kingdom starting Wednesday afternoon and will continue until Thursday evening.
With the Kingdom being affected by the first classified low pressure system for this winter, accompanied by severe weather phenomena, weather specialists at the Arab Weather Center issued a set of important recommendations distributed over the periods of the low pressure system’s influence as follows:
Wednesday: A very cold air mass of polar origins will rush into the region, leading to the formation of a deep low pressure system (classified as a third degree) centered to the west of Syria and gradually affecting the Kingdom, God willing, during the day. Therefore, it is recommended to:
Wednesday/Thursday night: Colder winds will flow towards the region, leading to the deepening of the low pressure system and its intensification of its impact on the Kingdom. Therefore, attention must be paid to:
Thursday: Very cold and polar winds will continue to flow towards the Kingdom, especially in the morning hours, with the continued influence of the deep air depression, which will be centered later on Thursday in the north of Iraqi territory. Therefore, the weather requires the following recommendations:
