<p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"><strong>Arab Weather</strong> - After Iraq witnessed during the past week a severe heat wave in which large areas of the country recorded temperatures exceeding 53 degrees Celsius, it is expected that the intensity of the heat wave will decrease during the first half of this week as the weather remains very hot.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><h3 style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> <strong>Temperatures in the late forties in most areas</strong></h3><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Temperatures will continue to be high this week in Iraq, and will be between the mid to late forties, and may touch 50 degrees Celsius in limited parts of the southern regions.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> However, with the second half of the week, temperatures will rise again to record temperatures in parts of the south and center of the country, and be in the late forties in the capital, Baghdad.</p>
