Weather of Arabia - The Yemeni Red Crescent confirmed that the situation in Al-Mahra Governorate is out of control and is considered catastrophic due to Cyclone Tej.
The Yemeni Red Crescent, Al-Mahra Branch, announced that its emergency teams and vehicles were unable to reach those affected by Cyclone Tej in the governorate’s districts due to heavy rains and large floods. He appealed to the Presidential Command Council and the Arab Coalition to intervene in the rescue operation.
He pointed out in a statement issued this evening that the emergency teams and vehicles of the Red Crescent, Al-Mahra Branch, have become unable to reach those affected by Cyclone Tej in Al-Ghaydah District, due to the heavy rains, strong winds, and large floods sweeping the region.
The Yemeni Red Crescent in Al-Mahra strongly appealed to the Presidential Command Council, the government, the Arab coalition, and international and humanitarian organizations to quickly intervene and send planes to rescue the people stranded in Al-Mahra Governorate in general.

From the present moment, our teams and vehicles have become unable to reach those affected by the heavy rains and large torrential rains that It is now happening in most of the streets, in addition to the strong winds. Therefore, we appeal to the presidency, the government, the Arab coalition, and all of humanity to send planes to rescue those stranded in Al-Mahra in general.
