Arab Weather - Based on the latest outputs from computer simulations, weather experts at the Arab Weather Center said that Iraq will be affected in the coming days by an air mass with warmer than usual temperatures coming from the Arabian Peninsula and accompanied by an extension of the so-called Red Sea depression, and thus temperatures will rise and become higher than their averages in various regions, God willing.
Temperatures will rise and become higher than their average for this time of year by about 2-4 degrees Celsius, and relatively cold weather will prevail in the northern and western regions, while it will be pleasant to moderate in the center and south of the country, and the winds will be southwesterly and moderate in speed, and the maximum temperatures will be around 18-20 degrees Celsius in Baghdad, especially on Friday and Saturday.
Despite the high temperatures during the day, the weather remains cold at night, and the weather system does not herald a near change in the form of weather systems, as the strong high pressure system continues to control the Levant and the Arabian Peninsula, and temperatures are higher than their averages for this time of year.
The extension of the Red Sea depression coincides with a limited state of atmospheric instability starting from Thursday, so clouds gradually multiply during the day at different altitudes, with the possibility of showers of rain that are distributed randomly, i.e. they include one region without another and are concentrated in the south of the country, and may sometimes be accompanied by thunder, as well as snow showers falling on the high mountain peaks in the border areas.
And God knows best.
