Regarding the birth of the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah , the crescent of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah appears immediately after the conjunction occurs at exactly 2:39 pm local Cairo time on Thursday, the 29th of the month of Dhu al-Qi’dah, 1445 AH, corresponding to June 6, 2024 AD.

The new crescent remains visible in the sky of Mecca for 11 minutes, and in Cairo for 18 minutes after sunset on that day (sighting day).
