Weather of Arabia - The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque has begun to raise the covering of the Kaaba in preparation for the Hajj season for the current year, as was the annual custom.

The lower part of the covering of the Holy Kaaba is raised by the hands of 37 employees, by about 3 meters, and the raised part is covered with a white cotton cloth about two meters wide on all four sides.

The process of lifting the Kaaba dress is carried out in stages, starting with loosening the bottom of the dress from all sides as well as the corners at a height of three meters, and then untying the lower rope and removing it from the throat.
