ArabiaWeather.com- Heavy rains and strong winds in the city of Raghbah yesterday, Sunday, caused the fall of the historic Raghbah Tower after 180 years of its construction, leaving only a part of the rock column in its middle.

The Raghbah Tower, which was built 180 years ago in the city of Raghbah, is called the "Marqab" and is considered the tallest archaeological tower in Najd. The tower has been restored twice in its history. The first was ordered by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz when he was Emir of Riyadh in 1392 AH, and that was done in 1394 AH.

The second time was in 1417 AH, and Sheikh Abd al-Rahman bin Ali al-Juraisi from the city of Raghba sponsored it. It was also lit and some cracks were closed in it, according to “previously.”
