Arab Weather - Boeing's Starliner spacecraft left the International Space Station yesterday, heading to Earth without a crew, after a series of technical problems. This came according to what was published by the German News Agency "DPA", quoting the US Space Agency "NASA".
NASA announced that Starliner left the International Space Station on Friday at 6:04 p.m. local time (2204 GMT), after spending three months in space. The vehicle is scheduled to land at White Sands Space Port in New Mexico after a six-hour flight.

Astronauts Barry Wilmore and Suni Williams, who traveled to the International Space Station in June aboard the Starliner, were only supposed to stay for a week. However, they were stuck in space due to technical problems with the vehicle.
NASA Administrator Bill Nelson said the decision to return Starliner to Earth without its crew was driven by concern for the safety of the astronauts.

Wilmore and Williams are scheduled to return to Earth in February 2025 aboard SpaceX's Dragon capsule. The capsule will launch to the International Space Station on Sept. 24 at the earliest.
Two NASA astronauts have been dropped from the upcoming Dragon launch to make way for Wilmore and Williams to return to Earth.
