Update 3:10 pm | Will the thunderstorms off the coast of Jeddah affect the city in the coming hours?

Arab Weather - Sinan Khalaf - Arab Weather has received many questions about what the satellite and rain radar images now monitor from the remarkable development of thunderstorm clouds in the Red Sea off the coast of Jeddah, and the questions revolve around the possibility of these clouds moving towards the east towards the coasts to affect the city Jeddah, and we, in turn, asked the forecast staff, who answered the following:

“It is unlikely that rain clouds will move from the Red Sea towards the east towards the city of Jeddah today. These clouds were formed at the point of collision of the northern winds with the southern winds, while the winds over the city of Jeddah are northwest, which means that the clouds are difficult to move towards the coast of Jeddah.”
