Arab Weather - The latest outputs of the numerical weather models processed by the Arab Weather Center indicate expectations of fog formation during the late night hours of Saturday/Sunday night in several areas of the eastern plains and the desert, and until the morning hours of Sunday.
Starting tonight, Saturday/Sunday night, temperatures will drop and very cold weather will prevail in all regions, with frost likely to form in parts of the desert, the eastern plains, and the peaks of the southern highlands during the dawn and early morning hours.
There is a significant increase in surface humidity levels, which creates a chance for fog to form in several areas of the eastern plains and the Badia, including the Zizia area and Queen Alia International Airport. It is not unlikely that the fog will be dense and cause horizontal visibility to drop to less than 500 meters, especially in the early morning, and it includes parts of the desert road leading from the capital Amman to the south of the Kingdom and sometimes reaches inside some cities.
During the Sunday morning hours, the weather will be very cold and foggy in several areas of the eastern plains and the desert. The fog will gradually disappear over time, i.e. during the late morning hours, but temperatures tend to rise for the rest of the day.
God knows best.
