Answer: Muhammad Fares was born in 1951 in the Syrian city of Aleppo, where he received his education, graduated from the Military Academy, worked in the Air Force, and served as a military advisor in Syria.

In 1987, Muhammad Fares made a joint space flight with the Soviet Union, making him the first Syrian pilot and the second Arab pilot to ascend into space, after Saudi astronaut Sultan bin Salman.

In a previous press interview, Fares indicated that when he returned from space, there was talk that the Syrians would teach their children that “Papa Mama Muhammad Fares” had ascended into space, and he remembered that many children who were born in the same year were given the name “Muhammad Fares.” .
