And one of the beaches of Vaadhoo is characterized by a strange and unique phenomenon, as it radiates a strange glowing light at night, resembling luminous stars with lights.

These strange lights are produced by a type of microscopic phytoplankton called “phytoplankton”, which spread off the beach and on its sands. These plankton appear in red and brown during the day, but when it gets dark, they appear in bright blue.
