The fourth-class air depression, which affected the eastern Mediterranean, including the Kingdom, is a rare and historical air event in terms of its location and intensity, as a cold air mass rushed from the east of the European continent towards the eastern basin of the Mediterranean and took an unusual path as it entered towards Egyptian territory and joined with Hot air currents from the African continent, which caused the formation of an exceptional storm called the dragon due to its tremendous strength and its unusual path, as the values of air pressure over the northern Egyptian lands slowed to about 983Mp. These values are considered destructive and unprecedented in modern history.

The storm affected the region for several days, and its effects were severe on the Egyptian lands, and it was very strong on the kingdom. Millions of crops were lost in the valleys after their departure.

• May 5 / 2020- A third-degree air depression (a rare time like this).

The Kingdom was affected by an air depression that was classified as a third degree on May 5, and the word air depression is considered a third air event.
