The Jordan Trail is a national hiking trail that runs across the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan from Umm Qais in the north to Aqaba and the Red Sea in the south. The itinerary takes approximately 4 days and extends over 600 kilometres, connecting the diverse and stunning landscape with Jordan's rich historical and cultural heritage.
Along the route, you will pass through 52 villages and towns, where you can enjoy warm hospitality, taste local food and sometimes stay according to prior agreement with the organizers of the Jordan Trail and some of the local community in those villages and towns. You'll pass the northern hills, rugged valleys and cliffs overlooking the Jordan Rift Valley, the salty waters of the Dead Sea, the pink rock structures of Petra, the towering sand dunes and mountains of Wadi Rum, and the colorful coral reefs of the Red Sea.
