Weather of Arabia- Many areas bordering the northern and central coasts of the Red Sea will begin, and as of Tuesday, there will be activity in the blowing of eastern winds, locally called the boyhood winds, which will raise dust and thus reduce horizontal visibility.
The winds of Al-Saba include the cities of Jeddah, Rabigh, Yanbu and all the way to the city of Al-Wajh, where the horizontal visibility in these areas decreases at intervals due to the raised soil.
Al-Saba winds are easterly winds that result from the control of a cold surface air mass in the eastern region of the Hejaz Mountains, specifically central and northern Saudi Arabia, in conjunction with the control of a surface air elevator on these areas, and because of the high density of cold air, it rushes west towards the Hejaz Mountains, and the Hejaz Mountains act as a buffer barrier Cold air is prevented from moving west towards the Red Sea, so cold air does not find its way to the west except through the passages between mountains, and therefore its speed increases and pushes strongly towards coastal areas, which raises dust.
