Balawneh called on farmers to continue taking precautions in the coming days against the possibility of frost formation that usually follows depressions, by following well-known instructions, the most important of which is igniting dry manure and continuing supplementary irrigation.
The head of the Jordan Valley Farmers Union, Adnan al-Khaddam, said that the winds caused slight damage to a number of greenhouses in the Jordan Valley in the northern and central valleys, stressing the importance of recent rains in reviving farmers ’seasons by providing irrigation water in dams and preserving soil moisture and its positive repercussions on plantings.
