There were no immediate reports of any loss of life or property.
Experts at the National Institute for Astronomical Research in Egypt confirmed that areas in the north and east of the country are exposed to tremors, but they are not felt and citizens do not feel them.
Experts revealed that Egypt is safe and located outside the seismic belts and activities in general, but it is exposed from time to time to some weak or medium earthquakes, especially those whose center is located in the eastern Mediterranean region, and the northern Red Sea.
