Arab weather - An earthquake measuring 4.5 degrees on the Richter scale hit the outskirts of Goim city, Fars Province, southern Iran, on Sunday night.

According to the Iranian "Fars" agency, the earthquake monitoring center of the Geophysical Foundation of Tehran University reported that this tremor occurred at 12:22 after midnight Saturday - Sunday local time.

He added that the epicenter of the earthquake was at the confluence of latitudes 28.27 and longitude 54.06 degrees, and at a depth of 7 km from the surface of the earth.

The tremor occurred 8 km from the city of Goim, 20 km from the city of Banarawiya, 26 km from the city of Shahr-Pir and 211 km from the city of Shiraz, the center of Fars Province in southern Iran.
