Arab Weather - The satellite images received by the Arab Regional Weather Center monitored the presence of a huge cumulus cloud resulting from the Monsoon depression that affects the south of the Arabian Peninsula. According to satellite images, the geographical extension of this cumulus cloud reaches about 435 square kilometers, starting from the northern Emirates to to the Empty Quarter in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The cumulus cloud covered a large area of the UAE, amounting to about 218 square kilometers, out of a total area of 83 thousand and 600 square kilometers.
This huge cumulus cloud resulted in rainfall of varying intensity in the southern and southwestern regions of the Emirates, in addition to parts of the Empty Quarter, accompanied by lightning and thunder sometimes. Glory be to the Great Creator.
