Weather of Arabia - The latest weather maps through computer simulation models indicate expectations that the north of the Sultanate will continue to be affected on Friday by an air depression in conjunction with the flow of water vapor with sub-tropical characteristics towards the region, so that many governorates will be again affected by thunderstorms.
It is expected that quantities of clouds will continue to flow at different altitudes overnight and tomorrow morning, Friday, over various parts of northern Oman, which may be interspersed with cumulus clouds over some areas, including parts of the coast of the Sea of Oman, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by thunder.
It is expected, God willing, that the proliferation of cumulus clouds will resume in the afternoon hours of Friday over parts of the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah, Muscat, Al Dahilia, South and North Al Batinah, accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity and the occurrence of thunderstorms sometimes, in addition to activity in downdrafts.
Gradually, with the afternoon and evening hours, the cumulonimbus rain clouds will extend to parts of the coast of the Sea of Oman to include the capital, Muscat, again, God willing.
The Arab Regional Weather Center calls for attention to the possibility of significant flow of valleys and reefs in some areas, in addition to the possibility of rising water levels in some roads.
God knows.
