Arab Weather - Weather forecasters at the Arab Regional Weather Center said that the latest outputs of computer numerical models indicate an expected intensification of the rainy weather in the Sultanate on Wednesday and Thursday 26 and 27 April 2023, resulting from the crossing of upper waves over the Sultanate's atmosphere in conjunction with the flow of tropical moisture from Arabian Sea, God willing.
In the details, the Sultanate of Oman is increasingly affected on Wednesday by the crossing of an upper wave, as cumulus clouds multiply in the afternoon and evening hours over the governorates of North Al Sharqiyah, South Al Sharqiyah, Al Dakhiliyah, along the Hajar mountain range, and adjacent areas, and these clouds are accompanied by rainfall of varying intensity accompanied by the occurrence of Thunderstorms and hail precipitation, which leads to the flow of valleys and reefs, in addition to a rise in the water level in the roads in some areas.
Some rain clouds extend to separate parts of the governorates of Dhofar and Al Wusta.
It is expected that the groove of the depression will deepen over the Sultanate’s atmosphere on Thursday, so that the weather disturbances will intensify and the effect of cumulus clouds will expand in the afternoon and evening hours to include the governorates of North Sharqiyah, South Sharqiyah and Al Wusta, in addition to the Hajar Mountains and neighboring areas, and these clouds will be accompanied by rain. The intensity varies, accompanied by the occurrence of thunder and hail, which leads to the flow of valleys and reefs, in addition to the high water level in the roads in some areas.
And the latest analyzes in the Arab Weather Center indicate expectations of an improvement in rain chances on parts of the coasts of the Sea of Oman, including the coasts of South Al Batinah, Muscat and South Al Sharqiyah.
God knows.
