Weather of Arabia - During the past days, Cyclone Tej affected the country, bringing heavy to very heavy rains in some governorates, specifically Dhofar Governorate and parts of Al Wusta Governorate, and it caused water levels on the roads to rise, valleys and reefs to flow, and torrents to form.

The following is an update on the amounts of rain that fell during the period of the hurricane’s impact on the country from October 22-25, 2023, according to monitoring stations affiliated with the Ministry of Agricultural Wealth, Fisheries and Water Resources. The city of Rakhyut recorded the highest amount of rainfall during the hurricane at 276 mm.
