Ingredients
- 6 boiled and crumbled chicken breasts
- 4 loaves of shrak bread, cut into quarters
- A cup of olive oil
- One and a half tablespoons of sumac
- A teaspoon of cumin
- Fried pine nuts
- 5 finely chopped onions
- A teaspoon of mixed spices
- Salt and black pepper
How to make musakhan rolls
- Heat olive oil in a pot over the fire
- Add the onions and cook until soft
- Add the chicken and stir until it mixes with the onions and olive oil
- Sprinkle salt, cumin, mixed spices and sumac
- Remove the pot from the heat and add the pine nuts
- Spread the bread on a hard surface
Place two tablespoons of the chicken filling in the middle of the bread slices
- Fold the edges and wrap the bread over the filling. Repeat this step until the bread is finished
- Arrange the heated rolls on a tray, grease them with oil, and place them in the preheated oven for 5 minutes until they are toasted.
