Weather in the Levant and Egypt:

Significant drop in temperature and return to cold and rainy weather at intervals

• A clear decrease in temperatures during the coming period, to be significantly lower than their general rates.
• Rain will continue for the rest of the week, especially in western Syria and Lebanon.
• Temperatures drop remarkably at night, as cold winter nights prevail, and the minimum in the capitals of the Levant falls below 8 degrees at dawn and touches zero degrees Celsius or less in the high mountains.
• Signs of a more effective depression on Saturday and Sunday, bringing more cold and rainy weather to the region and snowfall on the high Lebanese and Syrian highlands.

• Active winds are expected in northern Saudi Arabia, with dust and dirt.
