وكانت منطقة تبوك قد تعرضت مع ساعات صباح الإثنين لموجة من الأمطار الغزيرة، تميزت بشدة البروق والعواصف الرعدية المُصاحبة لها والتي بدأت بالتأثير على المنطقة مع ساعات الفجر.
