The emergence of the plant `Irrigation Lily` and heralds the arrival of a good rainy season

Arab Weather - In the Barqash area in the Koura district in northern Jordan, the growth of the wild flower plant (spring spring) or (Aulan ) was seen , which is the last flower of the summer season and the first flower of the autumn season, and its appearance indicates the end of the drought and the beginning of the popular autumn season, as it appears with the beginning of the high percentage Humidity in the air.

Its appearance and abundance among farmers in the folklore indicates a rainy season, and the flowering of the Isslan is considered evidence of the abundance of the next rainy season. God only knows.

This flower is also of great importance in providing an important meal of pollen for insects, the most important of which is bees. At these times, it is impossible to have food for the bees, so they collect pollen grains, as it is a necessary source for them to survive the long winter season.

It is noteworthy that the scientific name of Eslan "Tall Asphodel" is a wild plant that abounds in fallow lands in the Levant. The length of the plant is about half a meter, and a stick of one meter long comes out of it bearing white flowers.
