Weather of Arabia The Jordanian Consulate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs issued 41 burial permits for Jordanian pilgrims to be buried in Mecca based on the wishes of their families, indicating that they are “not part of the official Jordanian Hajj delegation.”

A statement by the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The Ministry is following up on the procedures for burying the Jordanian pilgrims who died while performing the Hajj rituals after being exposed to sunstroke due to the intense heat wave. The cell is also following up on the search for the missing pilgrims and ensuring their return as quickly as possible."

The Ministry called on Jordanian citizens performing Hajj and their families to call to request assistance, report missing persons, or arrange for the transportation of bodies in cases of death around the clock.
