Arab Weather - The Minister of Water and Irrigation, Eng. Raed Abu Al-Saud decided to stop all operations of blocking and separating water from citizens in all regions of the Kingdom for a period of two weeks, starting today, with the aim of alleviating citizens and maintaining water services in light of the developments witnessed by the world and Jordan with regard to the Corona virus.

The Minister stressed the need to "provide all the facilities available to return water to citizens withheld from them, especially for humanitarian cases and defaulters, including delaying the first batch (25 percent) and not insisting that the sponsor be involved in the water and raise the authority of water managers with the number of installments."

He also stressed the need to take all necessary measures to prevent gatherings of employees in large numbers, especially when receiving and delivering work and take all measures to follow up the sterilization of workplaces and the need to provide all sterilization and prevention products.
He excluded the decision to stop the blocking caused by a health hazard resulting from the leakage of rooftop water or sewage water leakage from the property.
