Weather of Arabia - At least eight people were killed and several others were seriously injured in a several vehicle crash in southeastern Utah on the afternoon of Sunday (July 25), where a sandstorm left some drivers temporarily blinded, resulting in to a series of accidents involving at least 22 vehicles on Interstate 15 near the town of Canoch, Utah.

 

"High winds caused a severe dust storm that impeded visibility on the road," the Utah Department of Public Service said in a news release. A video clip of the dust storm has spread, showing the density of dust and the dangerously low visibility.
