موقع ArabiaWeather.com- تسببت عاصفة ثلجية شديدة، ضربت الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، بإلغاء 514 رحلة طيران حيث كان مطارا شيكاغو أوهاري الدولي وميدواي الدولي أكثر المطارات تضررًا.

 

وضربت العاصفة التي وصفت بالمُبكرة، الغرب الأوسط للولايات المتحدة، اليوم الأحد، لتجتاح ولايات من ساوث داكوتا حتى ويسكونسن، بثلوج بلغ سمكها 40 سنتيمترًا متسببة في إبطاء رحلات الطيران.

 

ومن المتوقع أن تتجه العاصفة شرقًا إلى منطقة البحيرات العظمى لتصل إلى ميشيجان ونيويورك، فيما تنبأت الهيئة بأن يبلغ سمك الثلوج المتراكمة ما بين 10 سنتيمترات و20 سنتيمترًا.
