A Kuwaiti team creates a cooking pot that works on solar energy

The "Solar Cooker" pot uses a reflector to enter the sun's rays into the box through a transparent intermediate layer, after which the infrared rays increase the temperature inside the box to reach high enough degrees to cook food.

The solar powered vessel is characterized by its low material cost and does not require much care and monitoring. It is easy to install and store, requires no fuel, electricity or gas, produces no harmful emissions to the environment and is safer especially for children.
