موقع ArabiaWeather.com - تفاجأ زوجان عند عودتهم لقصرهم المكون من ثلاثة طوابق بأنه مطمور في حفرة يبلغ حجمها 20 مترآ و بعمق 10 أمتار  ليجدوا أن الشرفة الأمامية غمرت بالكامل.

 

و أشارت صحيفة نيوكاسل هيرالد إلى أن حفرة بهذا العمق تُشكل تهديدات خطيرة بإبتلاع ما تبقى من القصر الذي يطل على شاطئ البحر، وقد أخلت الشرطة منطقة سوانسي هيدز التي تبعد 200 كم شمالي سيدني من السكان بسبب إكتشاف حفرة أخرى في حديقة  قريبة.

 

وتزداد مخاوف الشرطة في المنطقة من انهيار المنازل خاصة أنها مبنية فوق منجم فحم مهجور منذ سنة 1950 .
