Hurricane Beryl is the earliest Category 5 hurricane

Beryl is the earliest Category 5 hurricane ever in an Atlantic hurricane season. The island of Carriacou in Grenada was hit directly by the hurricane's "extremely dangerous eye wall," with sustained winds exceeding 150 miles per hour.
