Jellyfish invade the British coast as temperatures rise

Only a few thousand were floating there, but after that the number increased exponentially!&quot;</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Jellyfish, used by conservationists as a barometer of the seas, are notoriously sensitive to changes in temperature, pollution, predator numbers and food sources.</p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"></p><p style=";text-align:left;direction:ltr"> Statistics issued by the Met Office show a significant increase in the number of jellyfish, starting from the month of June, as Britain is moving towards recording the sixth warmest year since records began in 1910.</p>
