طقس العرب- دفعت الحرائق في  عدد من الغابات في كندا، السلطات إلى إجلاء آلاف السكان من منازلهم بالمنطقة الداخلية بكولومبيا البريطانية.

 

حيث أدى ارتفاع درجة الحرارة والرياح الشديدة والجفاف إلى جعل السيطرة على الحرائق أمرا صعبا وانتشارها بشكل سريع، وفقا لـ "رويترز".

 

وانتشرت الحرائق في منطقة كاريبو الواقعة على بعد نحو 300 كيلومتر شمال شرقي فانكوفر، عبر مساحة تبلغ نحو 15 كيلومترا مربعا في الوقت الذي تم فيه إجلاء نحو 3600 شخص من السكان من المنطقة.

 

وأمرت السلطات أيضا بإجلاء الناس من المنطقة الواقعة حول أشكروفت التي تبعد نحو 100 كيلومتر جنوبي الحرائق في كاريبو.
