Arab Weather - The US space agency "NASA" announced that a small asteroid penetrated the Earth's atmosphere without causing any damage. Astronomers spotted the asteroid, which is about one meter wide, in Arizona on Wednesday evening, and reported that it crashed over the coast of the Philippines hours after its discovery.
The asteroid, named RW12024 , is the ninth of its kind to be spotted before crashing into Earth. Asteroids of this size pass Earth at a rate of about once every two weeks without posing any danger.
The asteroid was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey, operated by the University of Arizona and funded by NASA.
