The tragedy of a Kuwaiti and his child died stress and thirst in the desert of Saudi Arabia

About the last call with his father, the son of the deceased says: “My father called me in the early morning, and told me that his car had broken down in the sand, and that he would fix it, and after the communication with him was cut off in the middle of the desert, I could not communicate with him, and here the anxiety and alertness began to search for my father And the car was found at exactly four in the afternoon on the same day, and citizens were able to locate the car. After sunset, the bodies of my father and my brother were found, and the father had died four hours before my little brother, and that appeared from the effects of the sun on their bodies."

He continued: "I thank everyone who went out to search for my father and brother from among the good people, and from all the centers and patrols near the site, including the Moghati Center, Haneeth, Al-Saram Center, Al-Wonan, Al-Sahah, and all centers, in addition to the Saudi and Gulf citizens who came from everywhere to participate in the search."

And he concluded: "Praise be to God, anyway, and my father and brother were buried in the Sabhan cemetery in Kuwait, and all thanks to the Emir of the Eastern Province and the Saudi ambassador to Kuwait, who had a great role in searching for my father and brother, and I hope that the story of my father and brother will turn into an example, and that People are more careful when going into the desert." • Check the amount of food and drink you have.
• Avoid using common stock and drink only when necessary and in small quantities.
• Try to stay near the car, as it is the target of the search teams, and can be seen clearly from the plane.
• Avoid exposure to the sun, and try to limit movement to maintain energy and moisture in your body.
• Try covering the whole body with clothing or "gritting" in order to reduce the evaporation of water and the rapid loss of water from your body.
• It's going to be too hot inside the car, and you won't be able to sit in it, so dig a hole in the bottom of the car and lay in it.
• Collect all the reptiles and insects that live on the ground, as eating them later may be the reason for your survival.
• If you run out of water and feel thirsty, use the water in the car's windshield wiper reservoir.
• After a day or two you can start burning the tires of the car, to produce a column of black smoke that the search teams can see from afar.
• Do not burn tires at once, but burn them at spaced intervals "one every day" during the day to keep smoke for as long as possible.
