Arab Weather - Many people wondered why the heat wave was deepening dramatically towards the north and center of the Kingdom, unlike its south, and a number of people also questioned the reason for the temperature reaching at noon at 40 degrees Celsius in the capital Amman, while the temperature in Aqaba was 37 degrees at the same time All these questions will be answered.
After analyzing the numerical outputs by weather forecasters in the Arab Weather Center, it was noticed that there is a less heated air mass concentrated over the Egyptian lands, especially over Sinai, pushing the northwesterly to westerly winds towards the south of the Kingdom.
The western winds rushing towards the south of the kingdom contributed to the failure of the heat wave to deepen towards those regions and worked to reduce the temperatures recorded in the south of the Kingdom, and this was a positive factor for the southern regions, but the heat wave continued at the same intensity in the western parts of the northern and central parts of the Kingdom in particular.
For this reason, temperatures were recorded in the capital, Amman, higher than the city of Aqaba, and for this reason, the heat wave in the south of the Kingdom has a much lower impact than its north and center due to the entry of the heat wave at a direct angle towards the northern and central regions, and as an unusual weather event, degrees in the Abin region of Ajloun governorate reached 41 degrees Celsius even though its height above sea level exceeds 1000 meters.
God knows.
