To answer this question, NASA conducted an experiment on the surface of the moon, and the moon was chosen because it does not have an atmosphere, and thus the objects will not face any air resistance during their fall, and a similar experiment was done on the ground inside a vacuum chamber, and the result was what you will see in this interesting video.
