Egypt | Classes suspended on Wednesday in all Matrouh schools due to bad weather

Weather of Arabia - Major General Khaled Shuaib, Governor of Matrouh, decided to suspend studies tomorrow, Wednesday, in all governorate schools, due to bad weather conditions, and also decided to postpone the English language exam for the fourth grade of primary school until next Sunday

The Meteorological Authority had announced the start of the formation of the raised sand associated with the active southwest winds on the Western Desert and the northwest coasts (Matrouh - Salloum - Sidi Barani - El Alamein - Alexandria).

The meteorologist warned of a low level of horizontal visibility there, and it is expected to advance inland to affect most parts of the republic as time progresses.

And the meteorology said, that the country is preparing for winter conditions par excellence during the next 72 hours, as it will witness cold weather at night in all parts of the country.

According to Al-Ahram Gate, the meteorology indicated a noticeable decrease in temperatures, with the maximum temperature recorded in Cairo at 20 degrees and the minimum at 13 degrees, and the feeling of cold weather increases due to the activity of cold dry winds, especially at night.

The governorates of northern Upper Egypt are witnessing very cold weather at night in particular. Minimum temperatures are expected to range between 10: 9 degrees.

The meteorology confirmed that the horizontal visibility decreases significantly on desert roads and open areas due to the activity of southern winds that reach the storm level in areas of the west of the country and northern Upper Egypt.

The meteorologists had previously warned of the activity of cold winds resulting from the impact of an air depression on the surface of the Mediterranean, which leads to stirring sand and dust on the western coasts, Lower Egypt, Cairo and northern Upper Egypt.

The meteorologists confirmed that the wind increases the feeling of cold weather, and that wind speeds calm down a little during the night periods

Meteorologists expect that the country will witness, today, Tuesday, pleasant weather during the day in Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts and northern Upper Egypt, tending to heat in southern Sinai and the south of the country.

As for weather phenomena; There will be watery mist that is sometimes thick (from 5 to 7 in the morning) in the early morning on some roads leading to and from Greater Cairo, Lower Egypt, the northern coasts, the Canal cities, central Sinai and northern Upper Egypt.

Meteorology indicated a turbulent state in the Mediterranean, with waves ranging from 4.5 to 5 meters high

The state of the Red Sea will be light to moderate, with a wave height of 1.75 meters and a northwesterly surface wind
