She indicated the commitment of the next presidency in Egypt to carry the torch and build on the successes achieved by the current presidency, as Egypt will start coordination as soon as possible to ensure the smooth transition of the negotiation process and the path of parallel initiatives and pledges.

 

The Minister of Environment stressed Egypt's commitment to everyone, working to build bridges of cooperation, remove differences and find common ground that helps to agree and progress on the critical issues at hand, as Egypt takes upon itself to make every effort to achieve success in "COP 27" in facing this challenge that threatens the entire world, and will spare no effort to make COP 27 hospitable and constructive for all.

 

The Egyptian Minister of Environment welcomed all parties to meet next year at COP 27 in the charming city of Sharm El-Sheikh, to exchange ideas and visions and work hard to reach fair, balanced and comprehensive decisions to expedite taking real steps in the course of confronting the effects of climate change, and to help the developing and African countries and the most affected ones to start quickly their procedures to cope and adapt.
