موقع ArabiaWeather.com- بلغ عدد الركاب والرحلات في مطار الملك خالد الدولي أرقاما غير مسبوقة منذ افتتاحه، وذلك خلال الفترة من ٦ إلى ٨ ذي الحجة، بحسب الإحصائيات الأولية الصادرة عن المطار.

 

وقد بلغ عدد الركاب خلال هذه الفترة، ٢٠٩.٢ ألف راكب قدوم ومغادرة، وعدد الرحلات الداخلية والدولية ١.٥٨٣، منتظمة وإضافية عن نفس الفترة.

 

وكشفت الإحصائية عن بلوغ عدد الركاب في اليوم السابع من ذي الحجة حوالي 77.6 ألف راكب قادم ومغادر، ليسجل المطار بذلك زيادة تقدر بحوالى ٣٥٪ عن المعدل اليومي للمطار والذي يبلغ (57.4) ألف راكب يومياً.

 

يذكر أن معدلات النمو في عدد الركاب بمطار الملك خالد الدولي قد ارتفعت، لتصل حوالي الـ ١٢٪ حتى نهاية الربع الثالث من هذا العام ٢٠١٤ وذلك مقارنة بنفس الفترة من العام السابق ٢٠١٣م.
