Arab Weather - According to the latest weather maps from Arab Weather, a relatively hot air mass from the south is expected to gradually sweep into the Kingdom starting tonight, Monday/Tuesday, and its impact on the Kingdom will increase during the daytime on Tuesday.
Details: Starting tonight, Monday/Tuesday night, temperatures are expected to rise compared to previous nights, and the weather during the evening and early night hours will be pleasant in all regions and moderate in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba.
A relatively hot air mass will rush towards the Kingdom on Tuesday, preceding a Khamaseen depression expected to center over Egyptian territory on Tuesday before approaching the Kingdom later. Consequently, temperatures will rise significantly on Tuesday, and the weather will become relatively hot in various regions and hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
The winds will be moderate southwesterly, with active gusts in the afternoon in the desert areas.
On Tuesday night, night temperatures will rise further and the weather will become more moderate across the region.
On Wednesday, the Kingdom will be increasingly affected by the hot air mass, with Khamasin weather conditions gradually prevailing. Temperatures will rise further, becoming 13-15 degrees Celsius higher than their usual rates. The weather will become hot and dry across all regions, and very hot in the Jordan Valley and Aqaba.
We would like to note that strong winds are expected during the afternoon and evening of Wednesday, especially in desert and open areas, which will cause dust storms and possibly reduced horizontal visibility in various parts of the Kingdom.
On Thursday, the Kingdom will continue to be affected by dry, relatively hot to generally hot Khamaseen weather conditions, with the appearance of medium and high clouds. The weather will be extremely hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and desert areas.
Winds will be moderate southwesterly to westerly, but will become particularly active in the afternoon and evening, accompanied by strong gusts that will stir up dust in various regions.
Arab Weather experts said the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and Jordan Valley regions in the Kingdom will be significantly affected by the hot weather, with temperatures approaching 40 degrees Celsius and exceeding that in some areas, amidst the expected extreme heat.
Hence, we would like to point out the necessity of following the necessary recommendations to deal with the expected weather conditions, which we summarize as follows:
