Arab Weather - The latest computer simulation results of the movement of air masses indicate expectations that several Gulf countries will be gradually affected, starting from the end of this week and for several days, by a cold wave accompanying the crossing of a trough of a low pressure system, causing a noticeable drop in temperatures in the Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman, in addition to parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The same results from the Arab Weather Center indicate that the cold wave will gradually begin to affect the Gulf countries starting from Friday and its impact will deepen at the beginning of next week, especially in the east, center, and north-central regions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and the Emirates, accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperatures, especially at night.
Clouds are also expected to appear at different altitudes, with scattered rain falling on parts of the north and east of the Emirates, in addition to the coasts of the Sea of Oman in the Sultanate, and may extend to parts of the Al Hajar Mountains.
In contrast, and as part of the process of balance in the atmosphere, it is expected that the Levant will be under the influence of an extension of the high pressure system in all layers of the atmosphere, so that the weather will be generally stable and temperatures will be warmer than their usual rates, despite the activity of the eastern winds, which will increase the feeling of coldness.
And God knows best.
