Arab Weather - Meteorologists at the Arab Weather Regional Center said that the latest readings from computer simulations indicate that Iraq will be affected by a warm, dry wave in the coming days, which will cause temperatures to rise further, reaching 30 degrees Celsius in the capital, Baghdad, and perhaps higher, especially by the middle of next week, God willing.
Temperatures will continue to rise starting Saturday, and will continue to rise on Sunday and Monday, reaching the middle of next week, God willing. They will thus be 6 to 7 degrees Celsius higher than average for this time of year. The weather will be warm across the region, with the afternoon and evening hours becoming hot in various regions, especially the central and southern regions.
The expected temperatures coincide with a noticeable drop in wind speed, which will be light most of the time, with bright sunshine. The temperatures felt by the human body will be much warmer than those recorded by monitoring stations, meaning the heat will be felt more intensely, especially during the afternoon hours.
Maximum temperatures over the coming days will range between 30 and 33 degrees Celsius across various regions, including the north and center of the country. In the capital, Baghdad, they will range between 30 and 31 degrees Celsius, while temperatures will be lower in the west of the country, specifically western Anbar and the Rutba region, with maximums in these areas ranging between 23 and 26 degrees Celsius.
Nighttime temperatures will also rise compared to previous nights, with the weather expected to be pleasant in the western regions, cool in the late afternoon, and pleasant to relatively cold in the northern highlands. However, it will be moderate in the rest of the regions, with temperatures in the twenties in the capital, Baghdad, especially early in the evening.
And God knows best.
